ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: A heat management control method of an engine cooling system is provided to control an electromotive water pump and a thermostat as to meet a requirement specification of a vehicle and a driving condition of an engine and to accurately manage the temperature of the engine to be within a range of a critical temperature and an optimal temperature. CONSTITUTION: A heat management control method of an engine cooling system comprises steps of: performing a safe mode by stopping an engine if an electric water pump fails after determining the failure of the electric water pump which comprises an engine cooling system when the engine initialization starts; and controlling the number of rotations of the electric water pump to a 6th step control mode which subsequently fits a requirement specification of a vehicle.
