Glass with corrosion protection coating and method for producing the glass

The glass (1) comprises an anti-corrosion porous layer (2) with pores (6) having specific size distribution, whose maximum value is at a diameter of 8 nm. The porosity of anti-corrosion layer is measured by proportion of pore volume to total volume of anti-corrosion layer of 30 %. The base material (4) for formation of porous layer is selected from alumina, titanium dioxide, zirconium oxide, phosphorus pentoxide or magnesium fluoride. An independent claim is included for a method for producing glass.
