APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SPIRAL PILE FOR POOR SEA GROUND

PURPOSE: A spiral pile installation apparatus for a soft seabed ground is provided to install a spiral pile on a soft seabed ground in the deep water by using a vertical sliding unit and to stably fix a spiral pile unit into the ground by using a ground pressing unit. CONSTITUTION: A spiral pile installation apparatus for a soft seabed includes a horizontal main body, a vertical sliding unit(110), a ground pressing unit(120), and a support frame(140). The horizontal main body comprises multiple support legs(102) penetrating into the inside of a soft ground and has a spiral pile(130) arranged perpendicular to the surface of the soft ground. The vertical sliding unit is slid perpendicular to the horizontal main body during the rotation of the spiral pile in order to pressurize the spiral pile toward the surface of the soft ground. The ground pressing unit presses the surface of the soft ground penetrated by the spiral pile. The support frame is extended from the lower end of the horizontal main body to the upper end of the vertical sliding unit perpendicularly toward the weak soil foundation.
