<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting failure of a lamp unit, capable of detecting even a failure due to causes other than the disconnection of a lamp, in the lamp unit including a lamp lighting drive part thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: the lamp unit including the lamp and the lighting drive part for lighting and driving the lamp; a light receiving part for receiving light of the lamp; a lamp lighting information acquisition part for acquiring lamp lighting information including the information whether the lamp is lighted and driven; a light receiving condition acquisition part for acquiring a light receiving condition received by the light receiving part; and a failure determination part for determining the presence of the failure of the lamp unit, based on the lamp lighting information acquired by the lamp lighting information acquisition part and a light receiving condition acquired by the light receiving condition acquisition part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
