<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in control accuracy of an internal combustion engine upon restarting. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU runs a program which includes: a step (S104) where cranking control is performed in case that a stopping period Ts by an automatic stopping control is not less than a first period Ts (0) (YES in S100), and also a value of SOC (state of charge) of a battery is not less than a threshold value SOC (1) (YES in S102); a step (S108) where the cranking control is finished when a second period Tc has passed; a step (S112) where a first starting control is performed in case that the engine is restarted (YES in S110); a step (S116) where a second starting control is performed in case that a value of SOC is less than the threshold value SOC (1) (NO in S102), and also the engine is restarted (YES in S114); and a step (S118) where a diagnosis of malfunctions is invalidated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
