<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which is designed to prevent sputters generated at welding time from sticking to a current collector, making the battery highly reliable. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery comprises: a wound electrode group composed of a cathode electrode and an anode electrode which are wound via a separator; a case housing the wound electrode group; a lid encapsulating the can; a cathode terminal member and an anode terminal member attached to the lid; a cathode current collector 180 which connects the cathode electrode and the cathode terminal member; and an anode current collector 190 which connects the anode electrode and the anode terminal member. The cathode and the anode current collectors 180, 190 respectively include seating face parts 181, 191 along the inner surface of the lid and a junction having a bonded face with the wound electrode group. The cathode and the anode terminal members respectively come with penetration parts 146, 156 penetrating through the lid and cathode and anode connection terminals 145, 155 having flanges 147, 157 provided at one end of the penetrate on parts 146, 156, the flanges 147, 157 being welded on only the lid side face of the seating face parts 181, 191. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
