<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decline in a communication performance even when faults have occurred at a plurality of active routers in an N+m redundant configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In a redundant system having N+m redundancy, an event detection unit 13 in a router 1 detects a switching event indicating switching as a new active system by monitoring the state of a setting storage unit 12 when a fault has occurred at the active router 1 belonging to a prescribed VRRP group. An event handling unit 14 identifies the prescribed VRRP group which will be an object of the switching event detected by the event detection unit 13, and reduces the selection frequency of its own as an active system regarding a VRRP group other than the identified prescribed VRRP group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
