<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake device which prevents an actuator from making an emergency stop even when the movement of an operation lever is restricted. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes: the operation lever, which is structured to be movable by manual operation and operates a parking brake; an actuator, which has a lever connection part connected to the operation lever in a loosely fitted state and makes the operation lever movable separately from the manual operation via the lever connection part; a load detection means, which detects a load applied to the actuator; a control device, which drives and controls the actuator; and an operation switch. By making the control device drive the actuator to an operation direction of operating the parking brake, by the operation of the operation switch, the operation lever is made to operate the parking brake. By detecting a load equal to or larger than a predetermined level by the load detection means while the actuator is driving in the operation direction, the control device changes the driving direction of the actuator to a release direction of releasing the parking brake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
