METHOD FOR ROUGHENING SURFACE OF LED PACKAGE USING SPECIFIC GRAVITY DIFFERENCE AND LED PACKAGE

PURPOSE: A method for roughening a surface of an LED package using a specific gravity difference and the LED package are provided to improve light output efficiency of the LED package by reducing total reflection of light emitted through a sphere formed on the surface of an encapsulant. CONSTITUTION: An LED chip(110) is mounted on the lower side of a reflector(120). The LED chip emits one of blue light, red light, green light or light of UV wavelength. The reflector is upwardly tilted and opened. An encapsulant(130) is filled in the reflector. A sphere(140) is formed on the surface of the encapsulant.
