PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of silicon carbide is provided to manufacturing compound powder directly without adding a solvent by mixing an organic liquefied carbon compound having constant viscosity with a dry silicon source coating method. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of silicon carbide comprises the following steps. A carbon source containing a dry silicon source and an organic carbon compound are mixed to form a mixture(ST10). The mixture is reacted(ST20). The viscosity of carbon source is 20-1000 cps. The dry silicon source comprises silica. The organic carbon compound is selected from the group of a phenol resin, a furan resin, a xylene resin, polymide, polyurethane, poly acrylonitrile, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylacetate, and cellulose.
