The present invention addresses the problem of associating a character constituting a song lyric with the time in an acoustic audio signal that corresponds to the character, by a simpler method. A note transition waveform in music audio data (DW) is acquired (S140). When an output sound transition waveform has been acquired from music MIDI data (DM), time deviation derivation processing is executed for deriving the deviation (referred to hereinafter as the time deviation) between the play start timing of the output sound and the play start timing of a note (S170). The song lyric output timings of the characters constituting each song lyric in song lyric output data (DO) are acquired (S190), and the song lyric output timings of each of the characters constituting the song lyrics are modified according to the time deviation derived by the time deviation derivation processing, so as to match the play start timings of the notes in the music audio data (DW) (S200).
