<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for controlling a vehicular retractable getting-on-and-off step, which can avoid the repeated expansion and storage of the step each time each of the rear door and front door is opened and closed, even in the case of the single function-type step expanded and stored depending on the opening and closing of the door, which can reduce a burden on an actuator and a drive mechanism of the step, and which can improve usability. <P>SOLUTION: The step is stored when both the front door and rear door are closed and locked after the step is expanded while at least one of the front door and rear door is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
