摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging system capable of preventing a subject from unwanted exposure to radiation while acquiring images suitable for diagnosis by eliminating positional deviation between an FPD and an irradiation range caused due to warpage of a column for supporting a radiation source. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging system 1 is capable of reliably eliminating the positional deviation between a detection surface 4a of the FPD 4 and the irradiation range of X-ray which is caused due to the warpage of the column 5 for supporting an X-ray tube 3. That is, in the system, the positional relationship between the detection surface 4a of the FPD 4 and the irradiation range is adjusted for the longitudinal direction of a top plate 2 in accordance with the tilting of the column 5. With the configuration, the positional deviation between the detection surface 4a of the FPD 4 and the X-ray irradiation range is reliably eliminated and images suitable for diagnosis can be acquired.
