<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structure operation implement allowing use for an entirely new operation that an operation thread is indwelled inside a living body, and to provide an operation method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This operation implement 1 includes: a tubular needle body 10 having an opening 14 in a tip part 12; the operation thread 20; and a holding member 30 slidably provided on the outer circumferential face of the needle body 10 from the opening 14 of the needle body 10, and holding the operation thread 20. The operation thread 20 is bent in a V shape, one side 24 of the V shape is inserted into the needle body 10, and the other side 26 of the V shape is held outside the needle body 10 by the holding member 30.
