PURPOSE:To provide a subject device which prevents a nozzle from choking, by constituting the device such that a switch valve is located between a pressurizing pump and an ink tank in a charge control type ink jet recorder to discharge ink in a head at a non-working time of the device. CONSTITUTION:A switch valve 11 is positioned between a pressurizing pump 4 and an ink tank 5, and a switching is made according to an instruction so that an opening 12 to the air is coupled to a conduit running to the pressurizing pump 4. Air is fed in through the opening 12 and pressurized air is supplied to a head 1, and this discharges ink through a nozzle 2 and prevents the nozzle from choking under any environmental condition. |
