PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by projectingly displaying a picture read and entered onto a face of an original carrier path with a picture projection means so as to employ a small sized transparent liquid crystal for the picture projection means. CONSTITUTION:An input original 7 is moved on a digitizer 2 used in common for an original carrying path and a picture read by a reader 4 is projected on the digitizer 2 used in common for a projection face by a projection unit 5. When a command is desired to be selected, a position corresponding to an operation command is pointed out by a pointing device 3 and when an operation command is entered or a picture is corrected, a coordinate value pointed out by the pointing device 3 is read and the corrected picture is projected onto the correspondent position of the coordinate by the projection unit 5. The projection unit 5 inputs a projected light from a light source unit to a liquid crystal unit using the transparent small sized liquid crystal and the projected light transmitted through the liquid crystal unit is projected through a projection lens onto the digitizer 2.
