PURPOSE: A display device and driving method thereof are provided to make a user not wearing a shutter member recognize the original image and the converted image as one single image not having a blurry object by practically making the average values of brightness of the original image and the converted image the same due to determination of a gray value. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(100) alternatingly displays an original image and a converted image based on the original image in a predetermined time interval. Brightness of a pixel of the original image and brightness of a pixel of the converted image in a first region of the display panel is the same as brightness of a pixel of the original image and brightness of a pixel of the converted image in a second region of the display panel.
