PURPOSE: An eccentricity correcting device and an eccentricity correction method are provided to automatically measure an eccentric weight and eccentric angle of a rotating body and to move a correction pendulum, thereby rapidly and accurately correcting eccentricity. CONSTITUTION: An eccentricity correcting device comprises a plurality of sensors(110), a correction pendulum, a controlling unit, and a moving member(130). The sensors measure the weight of a rotating body. The correction pendulum corrects the eccentricity of the rotating body. The controlling unit calculates a corrective rotation angle and corrective movement distance of the correction pendulum based on weight data measured by the sensors. The moving member moves the correction pendulum for the corrective rotation angle and corrective movement distance. |
