<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to simply and efficiently remove cesium from a solid, such as soil and sludge, polluted with radioactive cesium. <P>SOLUTION: An absorbent having adsorptivity to radioactive cesium is made to carry magnetic material. Then, a solid polluted with radioactive cesium is added with the absorbent and the radioactive cesium in the solid is adsorbed by the absorbent.
