<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly start a duplex operation. <P>SOLUTION: When synchronizing a standby information processing system 1b with an operating information processing system 1a, cache copy means 5 copies contents of a cache memory 3a of the operating system to a cache memory 3b of the standby system, and main storage copy means 6 copies contents of a main storage device 2a of the operating system to a main storage device 2b of the standby system. Main storage arbiter means 7 processes reading and writing from a CPU 4a of the operating system and a CPU 4b of the standby system as reading and writing to the main storage device 2a of the operating system until the main storage copy means 6 completes the copy. When the cache copy means 5 completes the copy, the CPU 4a of the operating system and the CPU 4b of the standby system start the same processing at the same time without waiting for the main storage copy means 6 to complete the copy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
