<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage monitoring device capable of correctly discriminating the number of objects such as a human body existing in a monitoring area by taking the shape of an object into consideration without being affected by approaching state of a hairstyle and a plurality of head parts. <P>SOLUTION: The number of objects H is discriminated by performing template matching of a block projection image obtained from three-dimensional object information by a detection block about the objects H existing in the monitoring area by a template block 20 of the shape of an object obtained by making a block area including a head α, a hairstyle buffer part β, and a shoulder part γ as a template image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
