IMAGE ENCODING/DECODING METHOD AND APPARATUS USING DEBLOCKING FILTERING

PURPOSE: An encoding/decoding method using ductile deblocking filtering and a device thereof are provided to improve encoding/decoding efficiency by equally or differently defining the number or positions of target pixels of blocking filtering or a deblocking filtering method for a P block and a Q block. CONSTITUTION: A predicting unit(110) generates a prediction block. A subtracting unit(120) subtracts the prediction block from a current block. A conversion and quantization unit(130) performs the conversion and quantization of remaining blocks. A bit stream generating unit(150) encodes the converted and quantized frequency index block. An inverse conversion and quantization unit(160) restores the remaining blocks. An adding unit(170) adds the remaining blocks. A deblocking filter(180) performs the deblocking filtering of a block restored by the adding unit.
