<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian protection structure for a vehicle capable of allowing deformation of a region to a vehicle interior side when an object from the outside of the vehicle is hit by a connection position between a front window member upper end and a roof panel front end to improve an energy absorption amount, and capable of securing roof strength by a closed sectional structure provided at a position spaced apart rearward from a window support part of the roof panel. <P>SOLUTION: This pedestrian protection structure for a vehicle includes a closed sectional structure 12 extending in a vehicle width direction below a roof panel 2.
