PURPOSE: A power plug pin manufacturing method using the casting of a die casting mold is provided to prevent corrosion and current loss for a power plug pin by using zinc alloy which does not react with the moisture easily. CONSTITUTION: A power plug pin manufacturing method using the casting of a die casting mold comprises the steps of: making a die casting mold with a cavity shape that corresponds to a power plug pin, melting zinc alloy, injecting the molten zinc alloy into the cavity of the die casting mold, cooling the zinc alloy molded into a power plug pin shape in the cavity of the die casting mold, ejecting the solidified zinc alloy power plug pin from the die casting mold, separating the ejected zinc alloy power plug from the cavity, finishing the surface of the separated zinc alloy power plug pin, and forming a coating layer(52) on the zinc alloy power plug pin. The zinc alloy comprises 3.9-4.3 wt% of Al, 1.25 wt% of Cu, 0.03-0.06 wt% of Mg, and the remaining amount of Zn.
