PURPOSE: A relay system for providing an account transfer service by using a mobile phone number and a method thereof are provided to supply a more convenient real time account transfer service by matching the mobile phone number with an account number and using the mobile phone number as an account. CONSTITUTION: A managing unit(210) matches personal information of a user with a financial account registered in a finance company server. A receiver(220) receives transfer request information including a mobile phone number, a name, and a transfer amount of a recipient. A transferer confirmation unit(230) confirms withdrawal possibility and a balance of the financial account by using the personal information. A transfer processing unit(250) transfers transfer money of the financial account to an account related to the recipient.
