An array substrate, a method for manufacturing the same and a flat panel display device with the same are provided to improve an aperture ratio, ensure the reliability of the thin film transistor, implement high quality image, reduce consumption power and improve luminance of the flat panel display device. An array substrate comprises the following parts: a substrate(100) in which a gate line is formed; a data line which is formed by crossing the gate line; at least one thin film transistor which is formed in a cross area of the gate line and the data line; an organic protecting film(150), which is located in the thin film transistor, wherein organic protecting film(150) has an opening part for exposing a semiconductor layer of the thin film transistor; and a pixel electrode(171) which is electrically connected to the thin film transistor. |
