A method for controlling a starting operation of a sensorless permanent magnet synchronous motor is provided to minimize a starting failure rate in a starting process by improving algorithm and correcting a crossover function. An alignment process is performed to align forcedly a permanent magnet synchronous motor by increasing a d-axis current command value in a constant gradient on a vector control rotation coordinate system. A starting process is performed to start forcedly the permanent magnet synchronous motor by decreasing the d-axis current command value in the constant gradient on the vector control rotation coordinate system. |
