METHOD FOR IMPROVING IMAGES OF AROUND VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for reducing an image quality difference between cameras of an around view monitor system is provided to enable a user to conveniently park a vehicle by watching a natural image. CONSTITUTION: An around view monitor system captures an area around a wide angle camera attached to every side of a vehicle. The system corrects lens distortion for the captured image. The system arranges the corrected images at every side of the vehicle and provides a top view. The system converts a color of the processed image into a body color of the vehicle. The system combines the corrected image with a periphery image of the vehicle.
