PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit for regulator that is capable of achieving an output voltage correction function without applying unnecessary current.
SOLUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit for regulator that switches output voltage by changing a division ratio in a voltage-dividing circuit in response to an output voltage switching control signal comprises: a voltage controlling transistor (M1) that is connected between an input terminal and an output terminal; and a control circuit (11) that controls the controlling transistor so that the output voltage becomes constant in accordance with a potential difference between feedback voltage generated by the voltage-dividing circuit and predetermined reference voltage. The semiconductor integrated circuit also comprises: a discharge transistor (M4) that is connected between the output terminal and a reference potential point (GND) of the circuit; and a switching-time output fall control circuit (16) that compares the feedback voltage with the predetermined reference voltage, and outputs a signal that brings the discharge transistor into an on-state until the output voltage decreases to intended potential after the control signal changes.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
