PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a resin for powder paint is provided to provide a powder pain having high glass transition temperature, flexibility and anti-corrosion performance, thereby capable of being applied to a pipe, etc for transferring fluids of high temperature. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a isocyanate modified epoxy resin for paint composition comprises: a step of reacting 100.0 parts by weight of low-molecular-weight epoxy resin with molecular weight range of 350-400 and 1-40 parts by weight of an isocyanate compound under the presence of 0.01-0.5 parts by weight of a catalyst based on 100.0 parts by weight of the isocyanate compound. The catalyst is selected from a group consisting of 2-phenyl imidazole, 2-methyl imidazole, 2-ethyl-4-methyl imidazole and a mixture thereof. |
