PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a parameter for interpolating a pixel value of an imaging pixel corresponding to a position of a focus detection pixel at every lens condition.

SOLUTION: An imaging element 15 includes a plurality of imaging pixels and a plurality of focus detection pixels, images a subject image which is image-formed by a photographing lens 14, and obtains a Bayer array image. A non-volatile memory 12 stores the positions of the focus detection pixels. The non-volatile memory 12 stores a table in which a parameter used when the pixel value of the focus detection pixel is interpolated by using the pixel value of the imaging pixel at the periphery of the focus detection pixel is correspondingly described at every lens condition. An AF pixel interpolation section 40 determines the parameter from the table in response to the lens condition obtained upon photographing and interpolates the pixel value of the imaging pixel to a position of the focus detection pixel by using the determined parameter.
