PURPOSE: A reflection type liquid crystal display device, manufacturing method thereof, and a mask for manufacturing a reflection type liquid crystal display device are provided to form a unevenness member on a proper position of a reflection pixel electrode in order to have proper reflection character and improve efficient productivity. CONSTITUTION: A reflection type liquid crystal display device includes following steps. At the first step, a plurality of scanning lines, a plurality of signal lines, and a switching device are formed on an insulation substrate. At the second step, an insulation resin is applied on the substrate so as to reduce the thickness of the scanning lines, the signal lines and the switching device. At the third step, an interlayer insulation film(111) having a contact hole is formed on a drain electrode of the switching device. At the forth step, a high reflection layer such as Al is formed on the interlayer insulation layer. At the fifth step, the high reflection layer is patterned so as to form a reflection pixel electrode(113) which connects electrically with the switching device.
