A method for supporting mobility of user work environment using portable storage device is provided to freely use work environments of a user by automatically constructing the work environments of the user in a host computer through a software package. A method for supporting mobility of user work environment using portable storage device comprises the following steps: a step for constructing a user interface, each managing part, and a mobility supporting part of a user work environment in a host computer(S601, S602); a step for applying the user environment setting of a portable storage device to an environment setting of the host computer(S603); a step for selecting application program from the user interface(S604); a step for requesting a registry registration of the application program in a registry managing part(S605); a step for registering the registry of the application program to the host computer(S606); a step for requesting a file required in execution of the application program in a data managing part(S607); a step for executing the application program through a user work environment mobility supporting part(S608); a step for detaching the portable storage device from the host computer(S609); and a step for restoring a changed user work environment into an existing state(S610).
