PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit that power from a charging power supply is supplied to a main circuit section, even when a secondary battery is charged while power supply to the main circuit section is continued. SOLUTION: A load device A includes: a secondary battery 1; the main circuit section 2 which always needs power supply via a main power supply path 11 formed between the main circuit section 2 and the secondary battery 1; power receiving terminals 7 which are connected to the charging power supply 3 of a charging device B when the load device A is coupled to the charging device B, while a charging path 9 is formed between the power receiving terminals 7 and the secondary battery 1; and auxiliary power receiving terminals 8 which are connected to an auxiliary power supply 4 of the charging device B when the load device A is coupled to the charging device B, while an auxiliary power supply path 10 is formed between the auxiliary power receiving terminals 8 and the main circuit section 2. An excitation coil 13 for detecting a voltage to be impressed to the auxiliary power receiving terminals 8 from the auxiliary power supply 4 is provided on the auxiliary power supply path 10. On the main power supply path 11, normally closed contacts 14 are provided between the secondary battery 1 and the main circuit section 2 to form a main relay 12 with an excitation coil 13.
