The handle has a manually operatable handle part (10) acting on a lock provided in a door during actuation. A pivotable locking unit (20) is provided in an inoperative releasing position (21) such that the handle part is actuated. The locking unit arrives from two directions into two operative locking positions in case of crash such that the locking unit locks the handle part in the locking positions under interconnection of locking levers (40). One of the directions is provided opposite to the other direction, where the locking levers are guided in a type of a guide rail (41).
