<p>A disc reproduction apparatus (100) of the present invention has a signal processing section (15) which displays a pop-up menu and a user interface specific to a title being reproduced by a reproduction section (16), on a monitor (43). Upon accepting a user's operation to display the pop-up menu or the user interface, the signal processing section (15) displays only any of the pop-up menu and the user interface on the monitor (43). Due to such configuration, only any of the pop-up menu and user interface specific to an HDMV mode or BD-J mode title is displayed, and thereby, wrong operations by a user are reduced.</p> |
