The structure (1) has a self supported vertical support structure (2) comprising fixed vertical uprights (3, 4) mounted on a vertical climbing wall or a vertical climbing panel (5) in a fixed manner. Vertical support frames (6, 7) are mounted on the vertical upright via hinges. A movable climbing panel (26) is slidingly mounted between the frames. A position blocking unit blocks the movable climbing panel in any intermediate position ranging between a horizontal position and a position perpendicular to the vertical wall or to the vertical climbing panel.
