PURPOSE: A buoy for observing offshore current is provided to prevent the buoy from being swept away due to wind or swash by having an upper body part exposed on the surface of the sea. CONSTITUTION: A buoy for observing offshore currents(100) comprises a lower body part(110), a mass(111), an upper body part(120), and a position tracing device(121). The lower body part has a separate internal space and is formed into a cylindrical shape. The mass is coupled at the bottom of the lower body part. The upper body part is coupled at the top of the lower body part and has a separate internal space of which the cross sectional area is smaller than that of the lower body part. The position tracking device is coupled to the internal space of the upper body part. |
