<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the detection processing of an object with a storage capacity whose size is smaller than a predetermined size having a fixed magnitude. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor includes: storage means 103; detection means 102 for detecting an object in an image by applying detection processing in which a window size is fixed to an input image and each image of images having a plurality of resolutions generated from the input image. The detection means 102 is configured to, in the case of storing the newly detected detection result in the storage area of the storage means 103, discard the detection result of the image whose resolution is higher than that of the image whose detection result has been newly obtained when there does not exist any room in the storage area, and to store the newly detected detection result in the storage area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
