<p>The purpose of the present invention is to adjust the orientation of a video displayed on a display screen when there is a change in the positional relationship of the orientation of the display screen and the orientation of a user, without increasing the amount of data to be processed. A display device provided with a camera for capturing an image for detecting the orientation of a user comprises: an acceleration sensor for detecting the acceleration of the display device; and a processing unit for, when the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor exceeds a predetermined threshold value, detecting the direction of the user with respect to the orientation of the display device on the basis of the image captured by the camera, and adjusting the orientation of a video displayed on the display device, in accordance with the direction of the user.</p> |
