<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which excels in vibration resistance and in mechanical shock resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery comprises: a flat-shaped wound electrode group; a can body; a lid; cathode/anode external terminals provided on the lid; and cathode/anode collectors 120, 130 connecting the cathode/anode and the cathode/anode external terminals. Cathode/anode laminate parts at opposite ends of the electrode group are separated into two bundle-like connections. The cathode/anode collectors 120, 130 comprise: a pair of joining plates 127, 137 having main plates 123, 133 joined to the bundle-like electrode connections and rib plates 124, 134 extending in a curved manner from the main plates 123, 133; fitting plates 121, 131 running along the inner face of the lid; a pair of connecting plates 122, 132 extending from the sides of the fitting plates 121, 131 toward the bottom face of the can body; and a pair of joining plates 125, 135 connecting the pair of connecting plates 122, 132 and the pair of joining plates 127, 137. The joining plates 125, 135 extend from one end of the connecting plates 122, 132 toward the bottom face of the can body while leaning toward the center in the thickness direction of the electrode group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
