<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a period of dots tends to remain as a jaggy in an edge section while local correction effect to interruption of a thin line is high when a threshold matrix of a dot concentration-type is used in jaggy correction of the edge section in a multi-lvalue printer and that there is a case where local correction effect is low while the edge section can smoothly be corrected since the dots are weakly reproduced as a whole when a flat-type threshold matrix is used for the jaggy correction of the edge section. <P>SOLUTION: One threshold matrix used for the edge section is switched for use in accordance with an attribute of image data in a method for improving the jaggy of the edge section by performing logical OR for each bit of two pieces of half tone data to be outputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
