The device has a fixing sleeve with a sleeve section (12), which is inserted through a through opening of a component. A sleeve head (14) is formed to lie at the sleeve section at upper surface of the component. The sleeve section is inserted through the through opening of the component. A fixing pin is provided with a pin section and a pin head. The pin head has a locking portion. A frangible section is provided between a fixing section and free ends of the pin section for separating the free ends of the pin section from the fixing section.
