<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method which allows for prevention of excessive wear of the cutting-edge of a byte tool or a grinding wheel. <P>SOLUTION: A method of packaging a plurality of devices 17 each having an electrode 19, and a plurality of metal posts 23 connected with the electrodes of the devices by sealing them with a sealant includes: a first sealing step for sealing the devices by supplying a first sealant 25 containing a filler up to a height not reaching the end face of the metal posts; a second sealing step for supplying a second sealant 27 not containing a filler on the first sealant so as to cover the metal posts and the first sealant, and a processing step for arranging the height of te metal posts by cutting or grinding the metal posts together with the second sealant and exposing the end faces of the metal posts, after conducting the second sealing step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
