<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device performing data erasure automatically asynchronously with completion of job processing, and displaying the completion of the data erasure in each job unit. <P>SOLUTION: At completion of execution of a job, an image processing device 10 sets an image file included in the job as an erasure target, and stores job history information including information about a time when the job execution is completed. The image processing device 10 performs overwrite-erasure of image data that was set as the erasure target, and stores erasure completion information including information about a time when the erasure is completed. Based on the information about the time when the job execution is completed, which is included in the job history information, and the information about the time when the erasure is completed, which is included in the erasure completion information, the image processing device 10 determines whether or not the overwrite-erasure of image data included in the job corresponding to the history information is completed, for each job.
