PURPOSE: A composition containing Bacillus amyloliquefaciens KB3 for preventing plant disease is provided to biologically prevent various plant diseases and to enhance marketability and productivity of crops. CONSTITUTION: A Bacillus amyloliquefaciens KB3(KACC91644P) prevents plant pathogens. The plant pathogens are Magnaporthe oryzae, Thanatephorus cucumeris, Botrytis cinerea, Phytophthora infestans, Puccinia recondita, Blumeria graminis f. sp. hordei, or Colletotrichum coccodes. A composition for preventing plant disease contains the strain or a culture thereof. The plant diseases are sheath blight, tomato gray mold, tomato late blight, leaf rust, or barley powdery mildew.
