The assembly has rotor metal sheets (12-14) directly arranged adjacent to each other and provided with radially enlarged extension portions (20-22) at a front end of the assembly. An axial extension of permanent magnet elements (18) corresponds to an axial extension of a rotor lamination stack (16). An armature shaft (17) is provided at a front end of the rotor lamination stack on a side facing a rotor plate-free region e.g. annular free space (26). The extension portions are rectangularly formed and overlapped with each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rotor assembly. |
