<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor that can perform compression work with high efficiency by man power without having a heating means, is compact and can reduce an installation and storage space. <P>SOLUTION: The compressor includes: a supporting member 3 rotatably attached on confronting both sides of a base 2; a joint member 4 supported on the other end side of the supporting member 3 so as to be advanced and retreated; a pedestal part 5 fastened by the other end of the joint member 4; a compression part 53 hanging from the pedestal part 5 and extended by air pressure; and a compression plate 58 attached to an end of the compression part 53, wherein the base 2 has: an air supply part 12 supplying air to the compression part 53; and a pedal 10 connected to the air supply part 12 so as to deliver the air from the air supply part 12 by stepping.
