<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid film separation device for a steam piping system that can prevent thinning of a piping on the downstream side of a throttled part. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid film separation device for the steam piping system includes the throttled part in a straight section of the steam piping, and a curved section of the steam piping is present downstream of the straight section. The device includes a discharge piping having a groove provided in the steam piping on a steam inflow side of the throttled part, and a steam trap provided outside of a wall surface of the steam piping having the groove as an inflow port.
