<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile seat component, which can secure sufficient strength without deteriorating workability. <P>SOLUTION: A lower rail 11 is made of one steel plate, the lower rail 11 being made by bending forming the steel plate in a heated state and successively subjecting it a quenching treatment.
